I provide therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. I also provide evaluation services (psychological and psychoeducational evaluations) to children and adolescents.

I often work with clients with attention problems, challenging behavior, emotional difficulties, and trouble with social skills. I commonly see clients with the following diagnoses: Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Major Depressive Disorder, various Anxiety Disorders, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I also specialize in helping youth with bullying.

I am committed to using assessment techniques and therapies that are evidence-based (supported by scientific research). My goal is to provide clients with the evidence-based services needed to help them reach their personal goals. I frequently provide therapies, such as parent management training for conduct problems, cognitive behavior therapy for depression, and exposure therapy for anxiety and OCD. I also work with families to help them learn to communicate and solve problems more effectively.

Therapy: Depending on clients' goals and progress, I offer brief consultations (fewer than 3 sessions), short-term therapy (4 to 10 sessions), or long-term services. As I work with children and adolescents, I tend to involve parents/caregivers in session as much as possible, particularly for young children. I also make an effort to help families work with their schools to develop educational and behavioral plans needed for success.

Evaluation: I provide psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for a variety of questions and concerns (e.g., learning problems, ADHD, anxiety, mood). I also offer testing for gifted youth.
